Hey guys, I try to install Internet explorer 6.0, but it keeps saying I need a reboot!

Ive rebooted it like 100 times already but it keeps saying a pending installion needs reboot and wont let me install IE 6.0 w/ sp1

whats going on!! anyone know how I could fix this?

Try uninstalling IE first

control panel - add remove programs - add/remove windows components

i think what it meant was that you have to reinstall everything because it screwed up everything!!! But some slackers coded the error msg while on crack, that's why it's using the same reboot msg

Do you have system restore enabled? Maybe you could try turning it off, in case it's somehow restoring your system each time you reboot.
