You can run two SMP clients to use all cores.

Run from two directories. I think you have to use a console SMP client so you can configure the second one to a MachineID other than "1".

this might help you

in short:
-download and install first SMP client
-download and install fah smp affinity changer
-install second SMP client with machine ID 2 instead of default 1
-create shortcuts to both fah.exe to your desktop (name the 2nd one fah2.exe)
-paste this into the end of the target line after u click on each shortcut on your desktop:
"-local -forceasm -advmethods -verbosity 9 "
-run each SMP client shortcut

So, the affinity changer works on the mac too? Should I throw it on my MacBook Pro? It's folding the smp client.

Would the affinity changer work well on an X2 rig?
If so, could someone post a link where i can download it. I clicked the link posted in the 1/16 thread about it, but it then gives me some page in ukranian.

I'm not sure if Affinity Changer will work on Mac or if Mac needs it.

To get to the Target textbox, right click startup shortcut and select Properties ;)

I ran it on an X2, and my ppd went from 980 to 1300

So the easiest way to do this on an X2 would be to add "-local -forceasm -advmethods -verbosity 9" to the target?
