After looking through the thread about whether we should race S@N atm I noticed that many members did not have any kind of link to a TA website! & I bet they are not alone!:Q

Now I know many of you do post outside of this forum section so this is just lost recruiting!:Q.
Mentioned in the S@N thread was the fact that other forum sections were hit regularly by recruiting threads a little while ago & it is possibly too early to do so atm ,fair enough.

But that doesn't stop us putting a link in our sigs to snag more members!😀

Now you can either link to a specific TA project (like I have for TA SETI) or you can link to a site which covers various projects incase they aren't interested in the 1 you're are running(probably best overall I guess).

I'm going to add the link to Teamanandtech.com in my sig in a minute should anyone want to use that

Remember this will benefit ALL TA projects🙂

I know Smokeball has a good site for SETI ,& others for other projects ,so by all means hi-light them here🙂

If you post at other forums its worth having a link there too ,be careful they don't already have a team though!

Another point is if other non DC members start seeing a lot more sigs with TA in it then they will realise that DC is quite a widespread activity & not a minority 'geek' thing ,this will make it more acceptable to some ,thus gaining us a few more members🙂.
If we get enough of us to do this people will feel left out by not having a TA link in there sig!😀

A lot of members have incorporated the logo you see in my sig line. It is linked to an offsite message on the WIZ/SMOKEBALL website. I update the message from time to time to make it current. It includes a simple recruiting plea and a "How To" instruction set.

The following is all that is needed to be placed in your sig area of your profile:

[L=Team AnandTech SETI]http://www.gygabite.com/smokeball/sigline.htm[/L <- You need to put a closing bracket "]" next to the "L" for the link to work properly. 😉

Use the above or create a link to any other site you think appropriate. But do help promote our TeAm by using your sig. 😉
