Hey dumba$$es dont cut through the median

During my drive home from work this freakin idiot on the freeway suddenly realized he missed his exit. He cuts through the median barely missing a sign and without looking merges back onto the road. The two cars in front of me and I had to slam on our brakes so we wouldn't cause a small pile up there. The fvcker goes on as if he didn't do sh1t!

The thing is I'm seeing more and more drivers doing this. Well if you're paying attention to where you're going you wouldn't have to do something this stupid. I mean hey, if you realized you missed your exit, do the smart thing and take the next exit or backtrack to the correct one. In the 5 minutes it takes to do this you could avoid a serious accident and possibly saving your life and others.

Yeah, that's a pretty stupid thing to do, turning around on a highway where people are going 70+ in each direction.

i see people do that all the time. They would be all the way in the far left lane, they cut across 3 or 4 lanes and go over the median just to get to the exit.

When going to Brooklyn over the Brooklyn Bridge, the first exit on the right... OMG, more people cut in than take the regular way through. This has been the case for many, many years (as far as I can remember). I'm amazed there aren't more accidents there and that nothing is done about it.

How else would he go on then? Did you want him to stop and apologize to each of you? He probably felt bad or embarassed by it, but I don't think he has many options expressing that to you.

Those guys are annoying though. I always just keep going and turn around at the next exit to avoid looking like a moron.

I had a guy miss his offramp and he pulled over and started backing up (he missed it by at least 150+ft). This was during the evening when it was dark at night. I though at first that someone was going down the highway the wrong way. (white brake lights made it seem like headlights). It didn't help that the on-ramp was at the end of a big turn so I couldn't see him till the bend.

damn I despise people who do that

Well it doesn't beat this dumb lady here in the Toronto area. She missed her off-ramp, so she decides to go in reverse to get back to the off-ramp!!!!!!! Unfortunately for her, she backed right into an oncoming big rig.

What an asshat

Here in the great ol' state of NJ... ppl ride the sholder or the exit lane and cut in at the last minute. And if you honk they will flip you the bird... cause they think are entitled to do this.

Oh, just last week I had a guy turn right on a red light when I was so close to the intersection (with a green) that my anti-lock brakes activated in my attempt to avoid rear-ending him. I gave him the horn, and he flipped me off! As if I did something wrong. 😕

Don't you know that he owns the road? Get the hell out of the way! 😛

If you really look at the exit, there's actually two lanes when entering the Exit....

We should all have learned by now that the majority of drivers don't like to follow traffic laws.

Unfortunately?

Yeah I would call that "fortunate" for the other drivers...

I've never driven there myself, but is it a single exit lane that splits into two right at the exit? See, there's a spot like that around here, and the problem is that the people who wait until the end and cut in block the thru-traffic. And if EVERYONE waited until the exit and cut in, it'd cause havoc. It should be obvious what lane or lanes are appropriate to be in for the exit. If you're not in those lanes, then you're only going to create problems.

Because most people are selfish bastards and actually do asshat things in the RL and not just talk about it in forums?
