Hey Donovan McNabb haters

Over the past couple days, I've seen a ton of posts of people talking sh*t about McNabb (he's a loser, he always chokes, he is 2nd tier, blah blah blah). I just want people to explain what it is they hate about the guy so much. He defines the phrase "class act" so I don't get how there can be so much negativity towards him.

Is it jealousy?

I like him, he's a good guy and a good QB, but I personally get tired of hearing people call him the best in the league, hell I've even hear best of all time...he's good, but there are plenty better.

Atlanta just needs to develop some short routes and screen passes.

Maybe no one likes chunky soup... :)

I'm afraid that McNabb (like Manning) and the Eagles will have to suffer under the reputation of "chocking" in big game situations until they win a Super Bowl. You'll remember that Elway had the same problem.

And you've got to admit that McNabb didn't play as well as you hoped he would.

Maybe next year... :cookie:

Atlanta needs some wide receivers..

And a great QB is defined ib post season games, and his ability to make things happen. If Joe Montana was the QB for the Eagles Sunday, just for the last 10 minutes - would they have lost?

McNabb is awesome. Anyone who says different isn't in touch with reality.

He was the first QB in history to have 30+ TDs and less than 10 INTs. Not a bad stat imho.

The bottom half of his face is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEE. It's like twice as wide as his forehead. Sorry I just had to say it. Yes I know this has nothing to do with him being good or not. Flame away.

Yeah he didn't play well, but he didn't play like the garbage some people are saying. He threw 3 amazing touchdowns, but everyone focuses on the bad INTs. If you told me we'd put up 21 points on this Pats team before the game started, I would've thought we'd win. The Defense failed as a unit.

Probably. Montana wasn't perfect. Young had a greater QB rating than did Montana.

Elway was usually great in the clinch.

McNabb was lofting the ball up all through the game.

How can it be jealousy? The negativity isn't toward McNabb, it's towards people like you who have overrated him so much. You can't be the best in the league when lose the big game. End of story. STFU about him.

He's definitely one of the top 3 QB's today, absolutely. The great thing for Philly fans is that he only gets better every year!

Also, he hardly "choked". Give anyone 45 seconds on their own 4, with a Dynasty defense that knows you're going to pass b/c you have 0 timeouts, and 99% of the time you'll pack your bags. Otherwise, compare Bradshaw's 309 Yards, 2 TDs, and 3 INTs when he won MVP of Super Bowl 14, and McNabb's 357 Yards, 3 TDs, and 3 INTs (one during garbage time) look awfully good. ;)

Yea McNabb wasn't that great on Sunday, but he did A LOT better than Peyton Manning or Ben R0hlisseiberger against tht patriot defense.

Unfortunately, 3 of them were during the biggest game of the year.

Oh, regular season I meant.

I think the Patriots D deserves more props. Their pass rush was SICK on Sunday.
