My sister was interested in getting their plan, which is unlimited minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited local distance, unlimited text messaging, etc.

However, the thing is, they have the ugliest phones available. The only decent phone they had was the RAZR, which my sister dislikes.

My sister wants to get one of those Motorola SLVR's. However, we are not sure if they will work with cricket. She wants to get the phone unlocked of course., and get Cricket's service.

Anyone know if any other phone, or this phone, will work with Cricket's service? I'm assuming if the RAZR works with it then maybe the SLVR will too?

Cell phone guru's help?

I've had Cricket since Dec 2004. $60 a month and I have unlimited everything and $5 per month added to my roaming pre-pay. It's great for me because I call many friends and relatives that are in a timezone 2 hours ahead of me, so I can't wait for nights to be calling them. No need to track minutes. No contract to enter.

I have an Audiovox 8900 phone.

Yeah that's why she really likes the service. My older brother recently got it. He got the low end Kyocera. Text My brother doesn't care for the look of the phone, however my sister is rather picky.

Extra charges for roaming is big turn off for me! I am wondering do you really pay 5 bucks for no-roaming charges option?

My older brother is using it. He got one of those Kyocera Dorado phones. It was the cheapest one. He really likes the service. At first he was with Nextel but he's really liking the Cricket service. We're in San Antonio, btw.
