How good of a job is it to be a Radio DJ? It seems like the easiest job ever... You play like 3 songs, talk for a minute and say the names of the songs, play a couple more, tell the people the names, then go to commercial. repeat the process for about 5 hours and your done for the day....


How does one get that job? its such a kick ass job imo.

Until you see your paycheck-- then it's not so cool.

If you want to get a job as a DJ, just go to broadcast school. In less than a year, you'll be interning at some crappy station for minimum wage (if you are lucky).
Do that for a couple of years, and maybe you can get your own show-- still making barely more than minimum wage.

By the time you make any decent money, management will have figured out they can simply replace you with an automated playlist and a few pre-recorded bumpers,and you'll be out of a job.
