If you're in the Detroit area, you might have heard of him.

His name's Kidd Skilly, and he's Punjabi. This guy is a rapper, and he mixes with Punjabi music. He's worth listening to.

This guy is at all the desi parties at UofM.

I personally find the whole indian gangsta image hilarious. Prolly moreso after one of em drunk fools tried to pick a fight with me at one of the parties. .. but then I digress.

This is about the music and I dig fusion.

Yeah I kno of those parties hosted by desiXTC/desiPRODUCTIONS.

But I personnally like rap and indian music, so I havta give this guy props for merging the two. And its not just him there are many others like, Punjabi MC, Dr. Zeus, etc...

yup yup... it is about the music after all, and yeah fusion kicks ass. you should listen to BBC's Asia radio online, you hear some great remixes from the UK.
 
hehe...313 SoundLabs...I've met those guys a few times, partied with them a bunch of times. One of my good friends was roommates with one of the guys, so all of their house parties were always well DJ-ed. 😉 It's so weird to see people talking about Kidd Skilly and whatnot, on the internet.
