You can scare them off by laying naked in the grass with them, but make sure you're facing the up.

Tell me about it. Last summer I was playing volleyball outdoors when a squadron of geese bombarded me. I felt like I was getting shot by a machine gun in one of those war movies. Some even hit me in the mouth. I must have gotten hit at least 10 times.
