My friend is selling me his Storm Bolt (non-pro, non-power) for $50 because he isn't using it much. Is that a reasonable price?

well, I picked up a Storm Super Power Pearl for $50 used from my local bowling shop when I started to learn how to bowl. Unfortunately, with bowling balls, unless you are really good and got good connections, it's not possible to really go out and try different balls out.

if the Bolt doesn't fit your fingers, you can always get it plugged and redrilled so keep that in mind but that's going to cost more money on top of the $50.

I dont know how serious you are about bowling either. If you just want something a little nicer than a lane ball so it goes through the pins nicer, than for $50, that's not a terrible deal. But if you're serious (want to get it redrilled for your fingers, etc), I think you can do better for the money.

i'm a somewhat serious bowler (i'm only 17... my average tends to hover around 160). i'm aware of the extra re-drilling costs. i'm not sure if the ball is tracked out or if it has been resurfaced. i doubt it has though.
how much is a reasonable cost for the ball then (without redrilling costs)?

i got my ball from a bowling alley for $50 drilled. it was on clearence :D but that was like 7 or 8 years ago. so what should i be looking for in buying a new ball? i am not really a hard core bowler, but i do like it. normally i would just pick whatever is cheap and bearable to look at.

i mean... there's also a pro bolt and a power bolt (names of the different balls). i was just trying to say that it was the regular one.
