If i'm flying into San Francisco and need to get to Davis, is amtrak the only line that runs that route?

haha, yakko and his bay area pet peeve.

anyways, i don't think there are any other trains that would take you there. to be honest i didn't even know amtrak could take you there. if you can get a rental car, it's only about 100 miles north. about an hour and half drive (at least from fremont or san jose).

Amtrak is the most direct way of getting from SF to Davis (besides driving, of course).

Another way would be to take BART to Pleasant Hill -> Fairfield Bus 40 to Fairfield -> Fairfield Bus 30 to Davis.
