I have a great phone right now the VG VX6000 camera phone.

Here is the problem, my work doesn't allow cameras in the building for confidentiality reasons. Therefore, either my phone sits in the car or I have to get a new phone that I can take into work with me.

What would be a good phone? Recommendations?

How do they know that your camera has a phone or not? Do they check? Oddly enough, I work in a DOE nuclear physics laboratory and cameras of all sorts are allowed. I can bring my Olympus in any time I want and take all the pics I want. :)

There are big signs everywhere that no cameras are allowed.

I dont wanna get canned over something stupid like that.

i like my motorola T730 but i heard that other people dont have such good luck

i think because my parents have been verizon customers even before it was called verizon

i think in 1989, it was airtouch

so my phone broke 1 month out of warranty . . . they gave me a new phone for free, even though i was the one that dropped in on concrete :p

being a customer for 16 years while the cell phone industry just started really growing about 8 years ago really helps . . .

i have an a530 which is on the smaller side, but it is your basic color flip phone. it serves it's purpose really well, i like it.

I use it as a portable MP3 player. It has an SD slot so I can store 512 meg of MP3's on it. I work with Pocket PC's all day at work so this phone was right up my alley.

Do you like your VX6000? The VX4400/4500/4600 is the same thing, basically, without the camera. Get one of those.

Yeah, they're very similar clamshell/flip phones with external caller ID. The interface should be almost identical, the screens and screen resolution are marginally worse, but it's not a big deal.

I think the LGVX4600 might have moved to LG's new user interface from the VX7000, but I'm not sure. If it has, great, that's the best cell phone GUI around, otherwise it'll still be the same as what you're used to.
