Yup, being way ahead in the time zones really sucks, how's life in Holland?

Haha, things are good (except my lappy has gone into RETARD mode today, its typing about 5 seconds behind me)


Anyway, I love it over here. Its been a great experience so far. Mind the horrendous wind storm yesterday (60-70mph ALL day), the weather has been nice... All the people here have been very nice and everyone speaks english... Lookin foward to coming home though, i miss my girl 😀

How long will you be away from your girl? How did you two cope? I'm asking because my girl is planning to go abroad as a exchange-student (6-9 months) 🙁.

I had a GF before I came to Germany but she broke up with me while I was here. The extreme distance is a problem. Work is alright, pretty boring, but I might be heading to Switzerland for the weekend. Looking foward to that possiblilty. I am also going to see Arsenal play in a Champions league game on Wed here in Germany. Should be pretty sweet!

Well its been hard, but weve managed to speak on the phone pretty much every day... She even was able to take a trip over here to visit for a week, it was an amazing time.... So maybe you could swing a trip to visit her halfway through.... If it was meant to be, it will last. Thats about the best advice i can give...

I have been planning to visit her 🙂. Well, I don't even know where she will end up at. Maybe Belgium. Have to wait and see how things develope I guess....

If shes thinkin about Belgium, tell her to consider holland. I dont know why, i just dont particularly like Belgium all that much. Maybe i'm just biased... Although a friend of a friend who is studying in Belgium, said he wish he could have studied in Holland when we met up a few weeks ago.

She did consider Holland (well, she hasn't yet decided anything on the issue) but found out that the teaching would be in dutch, whereas in Belgium it would be in english.
