Hex L-keys - metric or imperial?

Those Hex L-keys/wrenches.. which one should I get - the ones using metric or imperial? Are they actually the same thing?

Well, I guess you're screwed if you don't know which ones to get? How can you even need them if you don't know which ones to get? This is real simple....if you have things that are mainly metric, get those.....and if you have things that are mainly in Imperial get those. Since you are asking this question I think you just need to stay away from tools!
