Hell, I'd gladly pay a couple extra bucks to have UPS deliver over FedEx. Tracking says my package was "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" at 6:07AM." It's now 6:45PM and he hasn't come by yet. You watch. The tracking is soon going to say it was delivered, and he won't actually bring it till tomorrow. FedEx pulled this crap before. CRAP! :|

You may want to modify your thread title, lest you give the impression of something else.

Holy Christ! It was just updated and said it was delivered in the next city from here. Signed and everything! A$$holes! :|

Personally, I'd much prefer FedEx over UPS, but to each their own.

Anyway, it's not going to do any good complaining on an Internet message board...call FedEx's 800-number and let them hear about your problem.

Fvcking azzholes!

I called FedEx, and he confirmed that it had been delvered to the exact same street number and address in the next city over. He said he could have it picked up and delivered here "in a few days". Slick, eh? I asked if I could just go and get it. He said that was fine, but to call back let them know if I do.

I looked for a phone number, but couldn't pull one up. So, I changed my clothes and headed out the door with map and FedEx Detailed Shipping Results in hand. When I went to open the garage, I saw my package sitting in front of it! The moron driver was supposed to get a signature, but didn't. Didn't even bother to fvcking knock! It says delivered at 4:50PM, but that's whaen I came home. My son left the house at 5:30, knowing I was waiting for this. He would have told me if he saw it in front of the garage. This thing just got here within the hour, and it's 7:15 right now.

I would take FedEx over UPS anyday. FedEx leaves my package at the back porch and though I've had to deal with a couple problems, it is nothing like the problems I've had with UPS. I will not buy from a retailer who ships only with UPS.

I actually prefer FedEx because they DON'T leave packages at my door. The FedEx distribution center is literally 1.5 miles away from home, so usually I just check the tracking online while at work and stop there on my way home to pick up my package.

I never have to worry about some loser stealing my package from my doorstep when I use FedEx.

What a bunch of horseshlt. The results speak for themselves. FedEx tracking sucks BAD compared to UPS. They screwed me around before, by saying a package was delivered when it wasn't. Now they claim a package is delivered at 4:50PM when it wasn't delivered till hours later. Hell, even then it shows it was delivered to another city, where such an address does actually exist. Not to mention he doesn't bother getting a signature. Damn, this is pathetic! UPS owns FedEx. They're well worth a few bucks more.

FWIW UPS did something like that to me, I was waiting for a package all day, I was home with the front door open/screen door closed, the next day the guy said he was here yesterday and left a "sorry we missed you" tag but there was none, as well as the fact that the front door was open all day, another time UPS took my package from virginia to florida via oregon, no sh!t, OREGON! and then they bounced it back and forth between warehouses for a week, took over two weeks for a 3day select package to go 1000 miles, oh and there was the time they said a package had been delivered with no signature and I had to drive around the area checking doorsteps of houses with similar address's to mine, finally found it at a house that was very obviously unoccupied :|

They both suck.

I just got a phone call today from FedEx, telling me that the driver left the package in front of the garage. She (the driver) marked it as delivered, but didn't change the city in the tracking info. Would I please call back and verify whether I recieved the package or not? Christ, if she had bothered to get a signature, like she was supposed to, or at least knocked, like any considerate person would have... idiots!

Here it is, 9 days later, and they're still trying to clear this up. Hell, I called that same evening and told them it had been delivered. WTF did I bother?

the service depends highly on your driver. businesses generally have better service, so I usually ship small packages to work.

"...the service depends highly on your driver."

It's not the driver who created the screwed up tracking information in the first place.

It's not the driver who is calling me back... NINE DAYS LATER!

It's not the driver who I called to verify that the package actually had been delivered... NINE DAYS AGO!
