How can you be 47 and be in that kind of shape? He said in an interview recently he never lifts weights, just does push-ups and sit ups. He also said he only eats a single meal a day, which is soup and salad.

That guy has to be an alien

Most likely he lies about what he eats or purposely excludes specific supplements. Probably a similar story for his workout routine.

while highly probable there are people who have the ability to gain muscle without even working out lol. It frustrates the hell out of me when I continually work out and get trumped by my nigerian friends who play soccer once in a while.

There are people who train with him daily who've attested to his routine. He does about 2,000 sits up and a 1,000 push-ups and then trains MMA for 6-7 hours straight and doesn't eat anything. He's definitely a genetic freak, he recently ran a 4.38 40. One of his training partners said he only eats a few grams of protein a day, if that.

he's a freak. He was back in his NFL days too but I don't think that much.

I say the NFL makes a deal that if he makes a comeback, so does The Fridge

I remember a 3rd hand story about him growing up. He never did too much athletic stuff as a child, looked fairly average. Til one day day his mom saw him walking around the house without his shirt on and he was suddenly this muscled up monster.

He was a freak of a RB, as a freshman I think he weighed around 225. At the time that was bigger than most LBs. Plus he was usually the fastest person on the field, possible exception of the Willie Gault type sprinters.

I remember seeing a story about his workout routine with pics. He does all varities of push-ups and sit-ups to work out different muscles. One handed push-ups, push-ups while performing a head stand along a wall, etc. He is a freak.

Calling shens on the single meal a day thing unless he shoves 5,000 calories down in that one meal.

Genetics and hard work.

These steroid callers have never put in hard work in their entire life.

I'm honestly skeptical about the information provided. He might be a little wary about releasing his training secrets and diet habits for his own reasons, but one "light meal" per day and very little protein does not make sense for any elite athlete.

Maybe they've worked their ass off and genetics aren't as kind to them as they are to the roid-heads.

Maybe that's WHY they're claiming roids. Ever thought of that?

Sorry to say it, but genetics disallow many from being that ripped.

To be clear, I wasn't screaming roids at all. I was referring to simple supplements such as whey protein since the only food he was listed as eating was one meal of soup and salad, neither of which typically contain even the caloric volume to sustain a muscle mass like that.

You don't need steroids to have low body fat. It's entirely possible considering his muscle mass isn't unreasonably high.

This, however, is impossible.
