There was another thread on this game but I figured Id make a new one that was a little more descriptive.
Im really enjoying this game. Its a FREE to play WW2 shooter where each match is part of a larger campaign for Europe. Allies try to take Berlin, Axis try to take London and many battles are fought to get there.
Theres also a strat side to it. Theres a campaign map that shows all the locations across Europe that can be fought over. You can buy what the game calls assault teams, I think most people would look at them and probably think platoon or something. There are 4 different kinds; Guard, Infantry, Armor and Air. These can be upgraded to allow different things. These assault teams start at the capitals, then their owners move them across the campaign map with the goal of taking the other sides capital.
When an assault team lands on a location that is owned by the other side it creates a battle which is then fought by an FPS match. The winner takes the location and continues towards the enemy capital.
The combat is a cross between BF and a combat sim. Dont expect to be running around like a madman like in COD. But yet its still fast paced enough to keep you from getting bored. You can also pilot tanks and fighter planes.
Anyway, I highly recommend this game.
Oh, its also still in beta and is made by a small company so it isnt as polished as a BF or COD but I havent found any problems that keep it from being a good game.
