Hermit Crabs can get stressed???!!!

:Q I bought a couple hermit crabs the other day. I come home from work later that night and I find a little crab leg seperate from the two crabs. One crab is moving around happily and the other isnt moving at all. So I picked the poor thing up and it fell out of it's shell. The f*cker died!!! I read up on it and I foundd out that hermit crabs can become stressed out and can lose ligaments and die in the process.!!!! What's there to be stressed about, they live on a resort for their entire life!
