I have the Aeron chair, and I don't think it's worth the cost. I find the bungee-style chairs (like this one) to be much more comfortable, and it's substantially cheaper. I imagine the Mirra chair would leave me with the same impression.

You actually find that Bungee chair more comfortable than an Aeron???

Yes, Aeron's are expensive, but the quality is top notch. Have had my Aeron for over 5 years now. It feels and looks just like the day I bought it. The cheap Steelcase chairs at work are all wore looking. I've swapped out at least 2-3 of these chairs in the same 5 year span as my Aeron.

Kristi2k, what's the price difference between the Mirra and an Aeron? If it's not much, it's worth it to spend the little bit more for the Aeron.

The quality is no doubt top notch, but I just don't find them that comfortable. Many describe them as almost something of an ethereal sitting experience, but I never got the impression. I used that chair 10+ hours or more a day for well over a year, and I strongly prefer the bungee.

I guess it's just not for everyone. I would definitely try the chair out before spending the cash on it.

We have Aeron's at work and they ware great, but the price is what scares me. The Mirras are around $300. So nobody has actually sit in the Mirras?

I liked my Aeron at work so much I bought one for my home office, best purchase evar. Prior to that, I had gone thru 3 $100 office store type executive leather chairs (the cushioning would wear out within a year and I'd start developing back pains), the Aeron is still going strong. I figure this is the last chair I'll ever need so the price is well worth it.

For the people saying that Aerons are uncomfortable, what size chair do you have? Size chart To check what size you have, on the back of the chair, behind the top ridge, count the number of dots. 1 for type A, 2 for B and 3 for C. My size A chair is a perfect fit for me. My friend has a size C chair and I find it way too overwelming. I feel like I'm swimming in that chair.

I have an Aeron, and i think it's the BEST money i've ever spent, period. I've had this thing for almost 4 years now, and it still looks brand new. Not to mention i no longer get neck and shoulder pains. Like i said, best money i've ever spent.

Who knows, they may have. The Aeron has been around for over 10 years now.

Not all butt cheeks are created equally. One chair might be comfortable for one person, but uncomfortable for another.

That's why Aeron's come in 3 sizes. Choose the right size for you butt cheeks.

even used aeron retain most of their values.

Why would someone want to sell their Aeron for?????

Well, when all of the Dot-com companies went bust, the Aeron chairs were being sold off by the truckloads. It wasn't individuals selling off their own chairs.
