“These are old and tired allegations that never stood up to the facts,” Gordon wrote in an email response. “This was settled amicably among all parties many years ago, and dredging this up now is merely part of a smear campaign meant to discredit a true patriot who is shaking up the political status quo.”

Gordon added: “Since critics haven’t had much luck in attacking Mr. Cain’s ideas, they are trying to attack him personally.”

^ That's the sum of it right there.

Right. Critics have had no luck at all exposing 9-9-9 for the money-transfer-to-the-rich that it actually is.

You know, there's so many perfectly horrible things about Herman Cain to attack. Basically every thing he's said or done so far has him as a xenophobic, muslim hating sociopath with absolutely no even remotely good ideas. So these allegations just come off as pointless. Hell, these are step towards good in comparison to everything else about him. These allegations show he to me that he lowers his crazy around women apparantly in comparison to its normal levels.

As long as he isn't associated with a domestic terrorist or with a group convicted of voter faud. That would probably be bad for a Presidential Candidate.

So what? Until these accusations can be legally proven, it's nothing more than some guy accusing Herman Cain of cutting him in the lunch line 10 years ago. Not that I was gonna vote for him anyways.

It needs to be proven that he actually did the things he's being accused of.

prove what and why does it need to be proven?

telling dirty jokes and asking a woman for a convention romp his hotel room? Really?????

i really dont understand what the big fuss is about. now if he is accused of rape or fucking donkeys fresh from Tijuana then this story may interest me. as far as i am concerned he did what a lot of convention go'ers do.

It's not a big fuss, and that was my point. It's especially not a big fuss when all you have to go on are accusations from one side. If these women decide to make it a big fuss, then they will need to prove it. Got that yet?
