Here are the specs for the system I'm making (note that this stuff is already bought, I'm just waiting.

Already Received
- Thermaltake Tsunami
- Athlon64 3000+ Winchester core
- 1 GB (2x512) Corsair Value RAM
- Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9
- Antec TruePower 480
- ATI X800XL

Currently Waiting On
- NEC ND-3520A
- 2x250 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.8
- Logitech Elite Keyboard
- Logitech MX510

My question to you all is: Do I have enough currently with me so that I can make sure the existing stuff works correctly? Ideally, if I can make sure it all works correctly, I can put that stuff in the case and put in the drives as they arrive.

Is it possible? Or doI have to wait for the hard drives to come in first?

You'll be able to boot and go into the BIOS

edit- actually, you won't be able to press Delete without a keyboard, so you'll just be able to POST :D

I've got an XP Pro CD, but I don't have any drive to put it into.

Spicedaddy - I probably should have mentioned that I've got another computer where I can gank some things on a temporary basis (like the mouse and keyboard, for instance).

So would I be able to put together what I have, update the BIOS, and [insert other stuff that I can do that I don't know about here]?

You mean I won't even be able to update the BIOS to the latest version? I thought that was the kind of thing you put on a floppy.
