The wife had previously been given hand me down machines when I would build a new one for myself. Last one from six years ago was a 2.0ghz AMD single core, with 2gb of RAM, and an old IDE 160gb hard drive.

I saved all the application data folders first, installed Windows on the new drive, and then was able to bring back everything as it was; Thunderbird, Firefox, iTunes, etc. One minor issue was the HDMI audio drivers could not be installed. I tried a couple times from the MSI disc, but it didn't work. I just disabled it from the Device Manager because we're only using DVI.

It's my first SFF build, and it was small in there. Overall, I'm pleased with the result, especially the case.

LOL, try it with a real SFF case. The Tt Lanbox is not small.

Props on your first SFF build. Just like "silencing" a computer, building small computers can become an obsession. 😳

You could probably get them directly from AMD's website.
