fatty4ksu (or whatever his name is), Dothan, etc get moved to a seperate, private Forum where they can fling sh!t at each other all day without involving anyone else. Anyone who would have been up for a two-week-or-longer ban gets moved to this forum as well.
Regular members cannot post in (or view) this forum, and it is lightly moderated to remove any warez chatter, or anything else that could get Anandtech in trouble. Offenders cannot post in the main Forums but can read them.
Once their behaviour improves, then they're allowed back. If they re-offend, then they get moved for a month or more, etc.
However (and here's the kicker), this "kiddie Forum" has double, if not triple the amount of adverts. Let's say that 10-20 members are moved into this forum, and continue to nef, spam, and start flamewars. All the time that they're doing this, they are segregated from the main Forums and can't annoy anyone, and continue to raise money for Anandtech. Heck, you could even insert a banner between each message, or have a fullscreen advert for ten seconds after they hit "Post" :laugh:
If they don't like it, then maybe they'd learn quickly to change their behaviour so they can come back. If they leave, then so much the better. If they change, then it's all good.
Thoughts? Interesting idea. I dont know if it could be implemented, that would have to be up to Jason and Anand
