For some reason, as of Thursday evening my mouse will no longer scroll the ATOT page. (using the scroll wheel) I can grab the bar at the side and go up/down, I can click that center button and move the page, but the scroll wheel does NOT scroll the page.
Doesn't happen on ANY other webpage I've tried...even different pages here at AT.
I've tried clearing all browsing data, done a couple of restarts, (for other reasons), and after the last restart, the mouse would scroll ATOT...for about 5 minutes...then nothing.

What the hell is going on?

help me obi-wan, you're my only hope!

Which browser? Does it work again if you close the browser and open it up again?

I've been having a lot of problems lately in Chrome, where the scroll wheel stops working, but it's not only in these forums. If I reload the page it doesn't fix it, but if I load the page in another tab (I right-click the tab and use 'Duplicate'), or if I stay in that tab, go to another site and come back to the same page, the wheel works again. FWIW, it's a Logitech wheel mouse with the most recent SetPoint software.

My fellow Assistant Community Manager had this issue the other day and we're working with the developers to find out what's causing this. Thanks for the report.

Carson, yes, Chrome. I've had the same results. refresh does nothing, close tab and reopen it works...for a time. It has ONLY happened on ATOT, not ATPN or any other AT sites...nor on any other web pages. Just ATOT. And...Logitech wireless M325 mouse.

Thanks. Glad to hear it's not just me.

I am having this exact same problem as boomer now. Start a fresh tab and it starts working for a few minutes then just stops working.

Forever hopefull.

I had a similar issue with a different website. Do you happen to be using a cookie or domain blocker? It might be related to that. I had to allow a certain domain from Google for proper functionality.

EDIT: Ghostery is commonly used and well known cookie/domain blocker

Just happens with these forums and it just started yesterday for me. It happened this morning but it's been working for a while. I'm using Chrome and I do have Adblock. Just a wild uneducated guess could it be with certain ads that are getting blocked? Reason I say that is it seems to be random and don't the ad sevices put up random adds? I'm trying to keep an eye out for when it stops the scrolling to see what I could of done right before that may have caused it. But since the reload tab it's been ok so far.
