Perl's mascot is a camel (and sometimes a llama). A camel is much larger than a penguin or java bean/cup so it is very clear that perl is powerful. Now, BSD has a demon and we respect that, but keep in mind that it is a very SHORT demon that can EASILY be squished by the mighty camel. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have a camel on my side than a flightless bird.


It's for Perl, a so-so programming language.
