As I type this, I'm getting a new deadbolt put on my door. About 2 hours ago, my boyfriend came over, and of course, I went to open the door. It wouldn't unlock. Called the emergency maintenance (probably a good 30 times until the bf actually got the lock off). Never got an answer, no phone call they were sending anyone over. Good times. The owner actually had to come over here and fix it for me. Very nice guy.

IT would have been more romantic if he brought a ladder to reach your window so he could still come inside.

1) Boyfriend was over hear before I knew the lock was broken, so I technically didn't call him to "save" me.

2) Sadly, because of the set up of the apartment and the fact that it's pretty tough to even get into the area nnear my window, the ladder thing probably wouldn't ever be able to happen.

3) If I were sober and able to drive to his place, he'd be getting laid right now. At least our chinchillas got a little action tonight (possibly... leave a male and female chinchilla together for a few hours, something even minor is bound to happen, right?)
