I emailed DFI a few days ago asking if they were going to release an NF3 socket 939 -- a techie there said that they *think* one will be released (NF3, AGP, s939) in addition to the NF4 boards.

I've also seen pics of the board on another forum, but heard it had major bugs so wasn't released yet...

(PS - all these pci-e boards are pissing me off, I imagine people that just bought $400 AGP cards are more peeved though hehe)

btw, SiS755FX is not really a next gen chipset. It goes like this:

755: 800MHz HTT, AGP.
755FX: 1000MHz HTT, AGP
756 - this is the next gen: 1000MHz, PCI-E.

Matt9669 from xtremesystems provided me with some product linkage to Abit's homepage on their four AN8 nforce4 motherboards they have coming out as well as a note in the link above from Abit Marketing on their forum. The Abit AX8 is not in stock at United Micro. I don't believe it was ever in stock. I placed my order on the 31st and just canceled my order today after being told they were out of stock. Their web site indicated stock until at least the 4th. They said they expect them next week.

I love this post and thread, tons of usefull info. However one change I would make at least for the gigabyte GA-K8NXP-9 nForce4 Ultra board reviews. All of them I would call previews. Or at least "Reviews (pre-release bios)". The hardware is all there as it will be in retail basically but in every one of those reviews you linked (I checked all 4) they mention they are using pre-release BIOS and most say any problems are probably from that (we can hope).
Once again thanks and keep up the great work. I'm in the process of deciding which nforce4 ultra mobo to get and this has been a lot of help.

I notice you labeled all the reviews you linked as previews. Just wanted to make sure you know that the only ones I checked and was talking about were the FOUR reviews for the gigabyte GA-K8NXP-9 nForce4 Ultra board ones and they were using a pre-release bios but the hardware was release I belive.
The reviews for the Asus SLI some of them at least are probably actual retail reviews in everyway since that's been selling for a month or more now. so anyway I was only wanting you to change those 4 reviews to something like "Reviews (pre-release bios)" not every single one you linked to lol. Sorry that you went through all that trouble dude.
