Heres a good ebay one for ya. Pure Platinum Shift Knob

can you put diamonds in it for extra bling bling factor? and maybe find some way that i can hang it around my neck when i'm not in my car also?

i added my own question...lets see if they take it seriously 🙂

I've seen that auction linked to at every car forum I frequent. They may never sell the platinum knob but they're getting lots of free advertisement...

...well, for the price of a $4.80 insertion fee 🙂

I was just looking at the site and I cant figure out why anyone would buy those things. I mean, my car came with a shift knob. They are nice in their simplicity of design I guess but why not just use the one that came with the car, or maybe a $10 one from pep boys or whatever if the standard one broke somehow.

Well, in a bookkeeping sense, no, because they've still got it in inventory 😛

Or they could be a dropshipper...

I put round, weighted, countersunk knobs on my cars...shortens the throw a little and feels smoother. Also, I like grabbing knobs from the top...

The funny thing is that it's $39k of platinum, meaning you would be paying them $36,000 to hammer it into a cone and polish it.

Tell you what...you supply the platinum & I'll only charge $10K to machine one of these
