Help me out guys, I'm at a complete loss! I need to invest this wisely. I'm certain I should buy a business or multiple businesses. I'm just not sure what kind of business. Something turn key and retail I suppose.
So, if you just got approx. $2,000,000, how would you invest it (not stock market or real estate)?
PS: I'm not specifically looking for advice on Anandtech, so don't flame me please. I have some investment advisors working on it, I'm just curious to see what you guys would do.

Are you asking hypothetically, or are actually claiming that you all of a sudden have $2m to invest?

That would be 4 chicks at the same time...

Hypothetical. Maybe.

I'd say to keep taking whatever it is, since it's giving you such pleasant waking dreams
Either that or do your own homework
And . . . stock index mutual funds. With a mix of US and world stocks it's as close as you get to a sure bet for making more than CDs for long term investing.

Well is it or isnt it? Stop playing with your words. OP makes it seem like you actually have the $2m .
But then you are selling shit on FS/FT for $50 and negotiating for better deals, not something someone with $2m would be messing around with.
So which one is it?

I'm not going to disclose over the internet whether or not I just inherited something!

Guys, why would you not want to work all your life? You gotta stay busy somehow, it's what keeps people alive. Besides, $2 million does not make enough interest to live off of after taxes.
