Nice little setup. But, how do you surf the web with the remote?

I am planning on having a similar home entertainment setup, but I will use a remote keyboard and mouse and the standard windows2000 interface.

Rectalfier: I don't surf the net with it , for a few reasons: my TV is not very good, doesn't show text very well, not in need to surf the net there ; )

and that is standart Win ME interface (couldn't use Win 98 , b/c it would always hang somehow :( )

I had a wega 32" and the text output, or just about any output from the computer would look very poor. I think to get it right you need an HDTV, most support 1080x720 singnals, but I'm not sure what the exact screen resolutions are as I'm sure they could vary between different models. Otherwise, I would not bother. Unless you could get a big screen LCD. Now that would be something.

DamienVorlion: I ran my TV on 800x600 (I would have more, but TV won't support it :( - old tv )
and video output is veeery good ... the quality of divx movies are the same, if not better than from tv cable ... so, I'm happy with it very much :)

I've used a scan converter and PowerDVD @ 800X600 and had it record well. I think I botched the sound though.
