I don't know what he's saying but no, we have no "soul" we consist of a electrochemical apparatus that is our mind, our brain, everything that makes us into us.

This is well known, there have been a multitude of less than ethical studies and even more ethical studies that provides evidence that you are nothing but the electrochemical impulses manufactured in your brain.

People have been stripped of their memories by injuring a part of the brain, stripped of their personality by injuring other parts and so on.

We're quite aware that what is us resides inside our brains as electrochemical signals.

They are gone when you die, you go back to wherever you were before week 25 of your mothers pregnancy, into the same nothingness.

Your mind doesn't survive your death.

Most scientists will agree we are in our infancy in understanding the mind. Just because we can manipulate personalities and memories still does not disprove the existance of a soul. Doesn't matter when it comes to the actual function though since we know about how to wipe out a personality and we can do it at will, we can also erase memories at will (unfortunately not some of them but all of them).

There have been YEARS i've gone through with the hope of doing that but every single time i lay me down to rest and pray the horse my soul to test or however the rhyme goes i've never been able to actually rest..

So at home you'd think i could, now i'm bored out of my fucking mind instead and can't sleep because no matter how much i lift and how far i run i'm still wide fucking awake until i have to set the time to get up in two hours... so i sleep two hours... and you'd think i'm tired then but i awake restless and bored too...

I need something to do and i might have it in a few weeks, might be fun to train people to take care of their own nation a nation in Africa, didn't work all that well in Afghanistan.

Miracle does not have to mean literally instance of divine intervention, but rather can be used to mean an unlikely event that is beneficial. Jesus walked the Earth before Paul become a Christian. He was the one that forgave sins, preached the Kingdom, healed the sick... way before Paul did.
