I am installing a CD-ROM drive in my computer. This drive will be the only one connected to my second IDE channel. Do I set the jumper to Master or Cable Select?
 
id set it to master, in case you want to add something later. that way you dont have to screw around with jumper settings
 
Set jumper to Master and put it on the end of the cable. I try to avoid cable select altogether, if you dont know which is slave and which is master, you dont need to be setting jumpers.
