Here goes my weekend.

So now I have to scan 600 pages over the weekend.
Pages are normal text.
Which scanner should I get ? Are normal flatbed scanners able to scan 600 pages in one go ?
If I get it done at some scanning shop, how much would they charge ?

get one with an ADF, it will do it no probs. scanning shops might be worth if this is a one time deal

Yeah, definitely get a document feeder.

I would take it somewhere & get it done.

They'll drop the entire stack in the feeder, you go to lunch, & when you come back you get a CD full of PDFs.

Yep. Kinkos/Staples/those places can do it. (Not all have the required equipment, but most can do it)

$700 for an ADF. nah I just need to spend less than $100.
Don't these shops do them cheap ?
