Hurricane Andrew in 1992: www.nhc.noaa.gov/1992andrew.html had max sustained winds of 125 knots (144mph) and caused $25 billion in damage.

I think Lili is going to pwn Andrew.

Lili is smaller than Andrew I believe. I'll bet it'll do more damage per sq. mi, but I doubt it can beat the total unless it outright floods NO.
