Hi guys,

I have just installed my new Mobo with a proper 24 Pin PSU,
video card and ram tested to work fine,

problem is,
I don't even get a beep to get the computer booted up to Bios
Hence, the Fans are running, LED lights functioning well and all,
but it seems just dead.

what could it be?
CPU? or just the motherboard itself

if not, give me some ideas what else I could test to make sure the connections are right

here are the specs

AMD 64 3000+ on stock cooling (have water cooling but yet to be installed)
1GB XMS Corsair XLPT for dual channel 2-2-2-5 Timings PC3200 ( want to be used for OC later )
ATI Radeon X800 XL
Enermax 460 W PSU with 24 Pin socket
using default Kerajan Audio
Raptor 74GB
Maxtor 300 GB diamond Max 10

can anyone narrow down the problem?
all fans on, the lights are on,
4 red LEDs also on,

but no beep at all, as if the computer is dead

I just got mine going.

From what I understand 4 lights means it can't detect the CPU.

I know for a fact 3 lights means it can't detect ram, and 2 is video card. Both of those where my issues.

I suggest re-seating everything. Making sure your ram is in the orange slots and put your video card in the second pci-e slot.

Most of my friends had trouble getting their's to post with it in the first slot. I think it is because we call use BFG 6800's and the card is too large and runs into the chipset fan, but putting it in the second slot makes it fully seat.

ok, I will keep you posted after putting it on the second slot,
now I wonder, even that shouldn't make the computer NOT post,

since u mentioned 4 lights = cannot detect CPU,
it maybe the CPU error hmm

got the system to boot up eventually,
well at least I know the CPU isn't dead
just a few pin connectors that was needed to be attached,

i wonder why too,
but its booting up now,
perhaps just a few conflicts to settle with my NF2 to NF 4 drivers
