Yzzim, that's to eliminate SPAM mail collected by SPAM Bots!! They just collect emails from websites and Mass Spam by email. With the spaces in, then he won't get any. Called despamming your addy!!

Yeah alot of people use something like this for an email addy:

grosso@TRASHonebox.com (Take out Trash to respond)

It really cuts down on the SPAM you receive. Won't get it from Anandtech here because the profiles are kind of hidden from the SPAM bots.
