Hercules Radeon 8500LE performance difficulties!

I purchased a Hercules Radeon 8500LE 128meg card last July. The card works great but in 3d mark 2001se I see a big performance penalty. I can barely crack 7000 marks and even when I do its not by much. My friends GF3 TI 200 dominates my card and his rig is less powerful than mine. It doesnt make any sense!

Your rig looks good to me - it's similar to mine. Sometimes certain combos just don't work right. Out of curiosity, what sound card are you using? It may sound crazy, but I've seen several instances where the sound card can make the difference. To my amazement, a good friend of mine saw a noticeable performance increase when he removed his Audigy card and used the onboard sound. BTW, what sort of rig is your friend running?
