Hercules GTXP

Which drivers are good, the one with soundbank or without? and if u wanna run it on win xp w/ 256 megs of ram, which drivers do you install?

The only difference in the drivers is if you get the one without the soundbank, you will need to insert your original Driver CD, so it can copy the soundbank off of it during install. I personally always get the one with the soundbank, just incase they update the soundbanks.

As for which drivers on winxp, I would use the latest windows 2000 v. 2.02. DO NOT USE the windows 98/me drivers, they won't work, only windows 2000, or xp when they come out with them.

Regards,

Daniel

Just use the newest win2k drivers with soundbank. I think you don't have to uninstall previous drivers, it'll do it by itself when you install the new ones...

BTW, the GTXP works great in WinXP if you have 256MB of ram or less. Everybody with more than 256MB can't get it to work. Hercules knows about it, and they said new XP drivers should be out for the official WinXP launch.

then how come after i install the newest drivers, and i check the add/remove program, and there're two drivers there? one that says hercules game theater xp, and one that says hercules game theater xp win2000
