Hercules Game Theatre XP owners, on startup with XP, do all other usb devices not work?

Im having a big issue with the hercules home theatre XP system, espically when XP starts up. Everything works fine except other usb devices. Those that are connected to another usb ports on the mobo and those that connect to the rack don't work!

I have to physically disconnect them and reconnect them in order to work.

Anyone get this problem?

I have the GTXP & WinXPpro and most recent drivers from herc and have no issues whatsoever... Herc has pretty new drivers on their site...

I don't have that problem, but I do have a different problem...when i try to install the latest drivers from hercules website and restart WinXp tells me it found a new device and installs the old drivers back in again!

It works ok, but I'd like to get the newest drivers anyhow.

cmdrdredd, umm i have just recently purchased this, and installed the 4.10 drivers. So I don't have this issue.

Umm, I'm going to do a reinstall now, since I have given up.

Lets see how that goes

Well, sorry to say I don't have your problem so I can't help you. Have you tried uninstalling your USB hubs in windows?

I also do not have that problem, but a different problem. I can not seem to get my scanner to work with the rear USB ports on the break out box. It works just fine on the front but not on the back.

This one I can tackle. This is a common problem with the GTXP. The rear USB ports do not seem to like scanners and cameras. I have seen this several times as well as on my own system.

Having to do with it not being powered maybe?? I don't know for sure. Then why would the front two work?
