I am having some confusion in setting up my game theatre xp. i also have the creative FPS2000 digital speakers. When connecting the two am I supposed to use the digital cable the regular cables, or both? I can't even figure out where to plug in the digital cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I don't have the GTXP but I believe the digital cable for the FPS2000 speakers are is only for the SB Live's Digital DIN port.

You should be able to plug the Front/Rear speaker cable into the GTXP though....
 
does this mean that i don't get digital sound at all? would i be better off if i had purchased a soundblaster live!
 
You won't get true digital sound I suppose....but that's hard to do on a 4.1 speaker system anyway.
If you want true digital you'd be better to use a 5.1 setup with the SPDIF plugin.

I'm no sound pimp so I'm just going by what I heard....
