Hercules 3D Prophet II MX + 6.18 drivers?

Currently I am using the drivers that came with my CD. I tried installing the Detonator 3 - 6.18 drivers on Win98SE but my display is completely screwed. Basically the screen only shows two big colored rectangles, no icons, no windows, no nothing. Are there any drivers that are better than the CD drivers but will work unlike the 6.18 drivers? Also, the 6.18s worked fine for Win2k. Thanks.

i see that you are running AMD system. there is a big problem with AMD system running det3 driver (i have heard a lot). if you want, try to disable fast write and see what you get.

if still no go, go back to 5.22 or 5.32. those should work fine.

and make sure you do a clean install of the driver.

damn, fast-write was disabled by default, or at least it was when i checked right now. maybe i should go ahead and turn it on then, assuming i am sticking with the older drivers. btw, where can i get the 5.xx drivers? thanks
