What a fucking bitch. Same goes for justice system that let her resisting charges drop. Bunch of fucking bullshit.

Hope she gets help with whatever caused her brain to be so fucked. I don't have much hope and sick of seeing blatant double standard. If it were a black woman she would've probably been publicly strip searched after being tased and beaten, while a group of male cops joke about deliberately inciting her so they could have an excuse to grab her tits.

But neither of those would have been as bad had the person not resisted arrest. (Not defending their killing, but, dammit...if you fight the cops, you're gonna get hammered)
Johnny Damon would like a word with you.

I watch the tape. Karen resisted arrest and it turned out fine for her.

Damned if I don't think youse guys are trying to make my point for me...

I had a friend in the 70's...big black guy...Former Marine...and quite a law breaker. The cops KNEW that if they ever had to arrest him...which they did fairly often...they'd better bring an army. Not because he'd shoot them...but because he wasn't going without a fight. The 3-4 times I witnessed him getting arrested, it was 8 or more cops...using billy clubs, saps, all the "toys" except guns...and getting their asses kicked before they'd finally get him handcuffed and into a squad car. Funny enough, I only knew of one time when he was actually charged with resisting or any other crime relating to all that...and neither was anything ever said about all his various lumps and bruises following the arrest. He went to court for whatever crime he was arrested...did his jail time, and got out. IIRC, they finally got him on one crime serious enough to send him to prison...he was gone about 2 years...then right back to it.
He considered fighting the cops a sport...and I think MOST of them did too.
No guns drawn, no one got shot, just some good old fisticuffs and brawling.

The common thread with these idiots is that if a business is open to the public then they have a right to do almost anything such as completely ignore masking rules, they cannot comprehend it's a private business and they can set up rules they think are needed to keep staff and other patrons safe. Cop handled it well, I'd have tased her for my amusement.

that's one issue but the second issue here is that mouthy white women get away with a lot of shit that would probably be a death sentence for the average black man.

the quarantine has done a marvelous job showcasing how many Americans are out of touch with America and lead very privileged lives.

I don't think either of those people did anything that would qualify as "fight the cops". They resisted, they didn't "fight". I am happy to allow cops to use NECESSARY force when an arrest is resisted. I am NOT happy to see people "get hammered" for resistance. Do what you need to accomplish the job and that's it. I don't want cops to teach a lesson, or knock sense into someone, or release their anger on someone who deserves it. Those kinds of things kill people, injure people, or make people more likely to be violent in the future. I don't want any of those things.

There is a beautiful example of cops doing exactly the right thing. It's in the OP. Your response is to examples of cops taking mildly bad situations and turning it into homicide.

Awww man, was hoping to hear a follow-up from the OP story of how she was gonna sue their asses.

She seemed like such a legal scholar herself with all her citations in the video.
