Hemp Clothing

Bought a pair of yago pants a cinch backpack a belt and a wallet. Being all made of hemp I'm assuming It'll beat the pants off of cotton/leather in terms of durability? Heh should of thogh of that before I placed the orders, but they do look very snazy.

I don't know about leather, but yes.. hemp is more durable and more soft than cotton.

Hemp was made illegal because the cotton and tobacco industries would be totally pwned if it wasn't gone. The war on marijuana isn't a war about public health, it's about big corporations with so much clout in the govt that it's just spun that way.

edit: Oh, and paper. Paper made from hemp is just as good as paper made from trees. Hemp crops are grown in a season. Trees take decades to grow. So yeah, just another example of the versatility of hemp being handicapped for bullsh!t reasons.

I fear hemp. If hemp was legal I might just smoke the clothes off my back during a dry spell.

hemp can also be used in place of gasoline. We could grow enough fuel on unused farmland right now and say screw OPEC if we wanted to.

yeap. Hemp is an amazing plant. I tcan be used for clothing, paper and as a power source. But since the goverment has a hard onf or MJ (even though Hemp is not the same) it will never be popular.

Though some are comeing around. read reports that they are trying more uses for hemp and that there are even hemp farms.

I prefer Alpaca

Soft as cotton (usually softer) and warm as wool.

Its expensive, but as more alpaca farms are popping pu across the US, it should be more mainstream within a few years.

Sure - they're made of meat, just like all other animals.

as far as I know, they are related to llamas so if anyone knows what llama taste like, my guess is it would be similar to that.
