Yes, it was terrible. I am all for quirky films and love design but this was too much. If you are wondernig how they cuold make a full blown movie about a font, you'll still wonder after the movie is over. You can't, so what they did was fill it with hippie crap. Things like "Well Helvetica is special, you see, because well notice the even spacing between the letters and notice how round the centers of the o's, p's and a's are. It's like, speaks to all races, creeds, and religions. To all people. And it's like a great unifier. You know?"

one of the designers talks about that in the movie...he did all the text in a piece using wingdings because it was so boring...
