MSI K8N NEO PLaT 3200 S939 or DFI LAN PARTY 3400+ newcastle. Which will over clock more and give better performance. Also any other better motherboard suggestions. THX 😀

Welcome to AT!

Tough choice you got there. I'd give the nod to the K8N if that's a 90nm 3200+ you have listed. If it's a 130nm, then I'd say both setups would top out around 2.450GHz

Oh, that's right. I keep getting confused with all these new revisions. 😀 Thanks for pointing out that error.

i dont care about future since im basically selling my old p4 and getting an amd. 😛 just want to know WHICh is faster the 3400 Newcastle at 2.4 or the s939 3200 at 2.0 😛

Well fix ur post to MSI K8n Neo2, that one is 939, while Neo is 754.

I just had to choose between those 2 setups same as u... and i went with the 939 route... hoping to OC well...
But either one should be great.... with 939 u will have to OC it to 2.5ghz.... few plp are going all way to 2.6... so what u getting is relle just 100 or 200 MHZ extra...
either setup would be good... if DFI had a NF3 939 mobo out... the choice would be clear n simple then..
