Ok here's the situation,

I have a GX280 that I ghosted a sysprep image to. When it gets to the setup enter computer name screen, there is no USB. So I can't type the name or hit enter for that matter or click with the mouse. Any ideas guys, I am just stuck with this setup screen.
I can access the BIOS, USB supports cuts when the setup loads. Tried changing HALs to no avail.

Windows, you make me sad.

Does the motherboard support USB boot devices? I'd pin this on your mobo not windows this time.

Does it work with PS2?

You probably need to add the GX280s usb drivers to your syspreped image. Did you make the 2000 image on a different machine? If you did, did you get the dell cabs for your other types of machines and add them to the image?

turns out , ICH6 usb drivers were conflicting with the Dell ones.

A wise man once said, "well there is such thing as too much USB,......wait a minute what did I just say?"
