Neighbor moved and threw a DFI P2XBL system in the trash. (YIPPEE)
It has a P2-350 or 450 processor in it.
It is a Rev. A board and I think it will go up to a P3-800mhz processor.
Here are the specs. I believe these specs are for the Rev. D board. I have the Rev. A and believe it goes up to 8 x 133mhz

Looks like no Coppermine: http://www.dfi.com/support1/FAQs/FAQs-P2XBL/P2XBLC022.htm
I don't know what the hell a Coppermine. I stopped following the buzz long ago after the burnout.
I know it's a variant of P-3 but have no idea about em whatsoever.
I want to crank this puppy up as best I can without stability issues.
I am of very limited means and am still running an AMD K6-3+ @ 575mhz and have been waiting for a deal before I upgraded. (Actually no upgrade was in sight due to monetary restrictions)
A couple of questions.
1) Which processor would those familiar with this line of processors recommend and what memory would be cheapest to utilize and attain the best overclock/stability? I have some 100mhz ECC memory that may work over 100mhz
2) Processor with 256 vs. 512 cache ?
3) 700mhz 100mhzFSB processor and overclock it to 133 more feasible and cost efficient?
It won' t take much to make me happy and I'd like to get the most bang as cheap as I can.
4) And last but no tleast what approximate % performance increase might I expect over this trusty old K6-3+ @ 575 ?
Any helpers and input anyone can provide would be most appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.
