HELPError Message/Blue Screen of Death

I got an error message on Windows XP and figured out that I needed to run the start up discs. After I did that when the computer tries to reboot I get the following error message.

Unmountable_Boot_Volume
STOP: 0x000000ED (0x89BFE5D8, 0xC00000A3, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Can anyone help me with this?

Most of the time the STOP errors come from registry so I would run a boot disk like Hiren boot CD and run the registry wizard to load a back of the registry and try again.
