Helper.exe Bloatware

Hey all

I'm just wondering how to get rid of these stupid helper startup programs? I've already gone it's msconfig and stopped them from running but I'm wondering how I get them off my system completely. The programs are as follows:

CTHelper.exe
CTXfiHlp.exe
iTunesHelper.exe
nvsvc.dll

I usually do custom install but it doesn't give me the option to not install these. My nvidia and audigy drivers don't give me the custom option at all.

Also is there a list of unnecessary windows Vista services that can be disabled? And what does Samss service do? It tells me Security Accounts Assistant in the task manager but it seems a little sketchy. Couldn't find anything on google.

Thanks

Well sames these three are part of the drivers the solution to that would be to remove the drivers. Which of course leads a few other problems, I'd say just deal with them or remove the creative card and use onboard sound and deal with the nVidia dll.

iTunesHelper.exe

Uninstall iTunes or Quicktime.

Hah thats what I thought, I guess that disabling them in msconfig is the only solution. It doesn't seem to affect the driver or software itself. Uninstalling really isn't an option because I use itunes and my onboard audio blows big time.

thanks for the heads up
