Helped needed with windows me

I was running win98 se, but then I decided to try Win2k pro, which worked awsome, but it ran my games crappy. It would run Unreal Tournament and Half-Life very choppy. I have the ATI radeon 64mb ddr card. Then I decided it wasn't worth the trouble, so I switched to windows me. That runs fine, but I cannot get Unreal Tournament to install. It just freezes up when you click the install button. Have any ideas. What operating system should I use? Thanks

Before attempting to install your game, clean up your system - delete any real mode configuration files, . . . run WinDoctor from NSW 2001 or 2002. Then when it is cleaned up, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and turn off everything running in background except Explorer and Systray . . . especially any AV software. Now your game may install.
